UA Manager

INTRODUCTION:

Bombay Play is seeking a User Acquisition Manager/Performance Marketing Manager to oversee user acquisition campaigns across diverse marketing channels, regions, and platforms, aiming to achieve growth with a positive return on investment. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically allocating Bombay Play’s marketing budget to balance innovative experiments with established high-performing campaigns. They will analyse and enhance campaign performance through data-driven insights and quantitative analysis. Additionally, the manager will provide the creative team with quantitative feedback on the performance of creative assets across various quality metrics, with the objective of increasing the effectiveness of new creatives. The role also involves simplifying complex analyses by creating user-friendly reporting or visualisation dashboards (such as cohort ROAS, LTV, retention, spend, and volume). Collaboration with product leads will be essential to establish quarterly KPI goals necessary for sustained business growth. Furthermore, the manager must remain informed about and proactively address the latest data privacy regulations, platform policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimise marketing performance.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up & run paid marketing campaigns across the different ad networks, geographies and platforms.
  • Manage the marketing tech stack to ensure correct tracking of conversion events, revenue and attribution.
  • Work with a growth team of analysts and artists to own the paid marketing funnel end-to-end across Creative, Targeting, Budget Allocation, Spend Optimization, Data/Tracking.
  • Optimise campaigns on an ongoing basis and run experiments to improve ROAS profitability.
  • Document campaign evolution to monitor overall performance and identify best practices.
  • Drive ASO initiatives, including keyword optimisation, storefront localisation and creatives, to drive higher store conversion.
  • Ensure a data led approach to all activity, creating a clear test & learn strategy.
  • Have an open communication with the game product teams to understand the product's roadmap and collaborate in scaling our games.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 4 Years Experience
  • Prior experience with hands on channel management for Paid Acquisition
  • Experience managing budgets across different sizes
  • Experience managing the creative process, content across media channels, and setting optimal production cadence.
  • Collaborative track record partnering with Product, design & engineering teams
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
